Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Meredith Kiger
This clever book is presented as the journal/scrapbook of the fictional Count Dracula. It's written in the first person, as if Dracula had been a real person (thing)! It begins with his family tree, goes on to memories of school days, letters home from school, pictures of school days, and ends with an unexpected surprise. It's creatively illustrated with whimsical cartoon drawings, and the whole book is tongue-in-cheek humor. Definitely for the monster-freak.

We enjoyed reading this book together before Halloween. Some of the illustrations are a little bold, but in the Halloween spirit...Even my 10 year old liked the facts included on Dracula. My 7 year old loved the pop-up style and the surprise at the back.
