This is one of the best volumes out of all the Full Color Dragon Ball collection. It features the majority of the Namek Saga, incorporating the three-way guerilla warfare between Vegeta, the Earthlings, and Lord Frieza and his minions. This is the pinnacle of the series at its height and no collection is complete without this explosive Full Color Freeza Arc Edition. It collects a portion of Volume 21: Dragon Ball In Space and Volume 22: Battlefield Namek. I would have to say that if it were not for these specific chapters, I would not even be a Dragon Ball fan. Volume 22 features the journey to Namek, the arrival on Namek, and the betrayal of Vegeta as he blatantly goes against Lord Frieza. This is the most impacting to me of all Dragon Ball history as it features the fights between Vegeta against Zarbon and Dodoria, Frieza's top two elite henchmen and Generals. The slaughtering of the Namekian children and elders at the hands of Zarbon and Dodoria followed by Dodoria's chase of Gohan and Krillin and his eventual revelation of the truth behind the destruction of Planet Vegeta to the demonic reptilian transformation of handsome warrior Zarbon, and the three-way wild chase for the Dragon Balls make this the most compelling collection of Dragon Ball manga to ever be released. Zarbon and Dodoria are not only the best supporting antagonists in Dragon Ball, but they happen to be my favorite characters in the history of all anime. Chapter 1: "The Return of Vegeta" - 9.5 out of 10 Chapter 2: "Planet Namek, Cold and Dark" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 3: "The Mysterious Strangers" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 4: "Vegeta's True Power" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 5: "Goku Returns! Again!" - 8.5 out of 10 Chapter 6: "Son Goku's Spaceship" - 8.5 out of 10 Chapter 7: "Namekian Fear" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 8: "Showdown!" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 9: "Ten Seconds of Death" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 10: "Son Gohan Snaps!" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 11: "Death in Flight" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 12: "Vegeta vs. Dodoria" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 13: "Hide and Seek" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 14: "The Sixth Dragon Ball" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 15: "The Last Dragon Ball" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 16: "The Four Dead Heroes" - 9.9 out of 10 Chapter 17: "Vegeta vs. Zarbon" - 9.9 out of 10 Total Score: 9.8 out of 10 or 4.9 out of 5
