This was a marvelous blending of the science fiction and fantasy genre. I loved the way the author joined the two together into one fantastic ride. I found myself rooting for both sides of the races, dragons and humans, at different times and with different characters. Maxey has an original and entertaining series going. I'm eagerly awaiting the next book.

To about page 170 the book was quite pleasing. After which, the book took on a different identity--one that didn't attract me in the least bit. If you like Isaac Asimov you'll like this book. However, I find myself on the other side of the fence. Robots and dragons go together like Jello and Wasabi. Maxey has a wonderful writing style and I give him credit for the messages hidden within the text. Although, they're not exactly hidden they're very blunt. I think Maxey is a better author than this book conveys. Or at least, he has the potential, anyways.
