A correct understanding of God is of critical importance to those who desire to become more like Him and to glorify and worship Him as He deserves. Throughout scripture we are called to pursue a greater knowledge of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. As we grow in our understanding of all that He is, our walk with Him becomes more intimate, our trust in Him, regardless of circumstances, grows stronger, and our worship and desire to give Him glory on a daily basis is magnified. This is what God Himself said in Jeremiah 9:23-24:

"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth, for in these I delight." (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Drawing Closer: Part Two, and its predecessor, Drawing Closer: Part One, together discuss fifty attributes or qualities of God's nature—all drawn from the truth of the Word of God. If you are not satisfied with where you are in your walk with the Lord, or if you are struggling with issues that just seem too difficult and overwhelming to handle, then this book may be for you.
