This devotionall book has 52 short chapters, 176 pages. Each chapter starts with a question, has a biblical background scripture that is appropriate for the title of the chapter and then discusses the answer to that query through the eyes of the author’s vision of God. The chapter ends with a prophetic word form Jesus’ heart saying “I hear Jesus say:”….,” Every chapter ends with a drawing by the author or an inspired artist who knows Jesus intimately.
The book will make you hungry to know more of who God really is and answers questions like:” Does He really care about the small stuff in my life? How can I give Him first place when I feel like I am losing it and I feel He does not love me any more? Do we need conflict in our life? What about generational blessings? How far will He go with me? What about impossible situations? How do I ever attain to living a life that is bathed in God’s rest?
The book also shares personal examples of how the author faced tremendous difficulties in her own life. How in her youth during the war in Holland they were hiding Jews right under the nose of the Nazis who lived next to them in a castle. The pain she experienced in her broken youth when she felt like no-one even realized she was around. How God became her Father and her Mother when she herself was just a young mother, longing to be free from much bondage.
The book is based on prophetic art and how God wants to speak to each one of us not only through His precious word, but through anything that comes our way.

About the Author
When you visit her artistic home in Phoenix she will welcome you with a cup of Dutch tea or delightful coffee and will tell you some interesting stories of how His love rescued her from a life of pain and depression.
Marietta escaped to Canada by herself at the age of 17 out of sheer desperation to get away from a very difficult home situation. She attended bible college in Saskatchewan. After she graduated she became a missionary in Brooklyn, New York, for seven years.
For the past six years Marietta has performed prophetic art in her church in Phoenix, Arizona, on a weekly basis except for when she has been on missions trips with her husband, or works with children in her church. She leads a prophetic art team in Phoenix and has trained teams in Mexico, Chili, Scotland and Romania. Marietta has been married for 45 years and has nine grandchildren. She also has written and published a book called Brushed by God. The book gives accounts of how prophetic art has blessed and surprised people all over the world, as well as practical teachings on how anybody can do prophetic art if there is some ability to draw. Her new book, Drawn by God, derived from her deep relationship and life experiences with God and from the freedom He has given her out of very troubling life patterns. In her book she uses her own drawings and paintings as well as her team's drawings which were given during the worship time in her church.
Marietta has taught and written bible classes for adults and youth for several years and has a passion to research the Word and bring it to a practical application in her own life. Both she and her husband pursue the Word of God each day and have many morning discussions about what God is saying to them for themselves, their children, friends and, above all, neighbors and people who are in desperate situations.
Marietta and her husband regularly go on missions trips world-wide where she can demonstrate prophetic art and where her husband imparts the love of God to thirsty and hungry people.
Drawn by God comes from Marietta's drawings and from God drawing her.
