An Outcast in Her Own Life...
A lonely girl in her close-knit, small-town community, Elle is dreading beginning her first year of high school. Unable to fit into the claustrophobic cultural expectations of her town, Elle struggles to find where she belongs within a community that seems to have no place for her. A neglectful mother, an overly domineering soon-to-be stepfather paired with a complicated romantic relationship with the boy of her dreams has made Elle's young life quite the climb. To make matters worse she is constantly being bullied by the popular clique at her school where she is treated like an outsider and struggles to fit in.
When she stumbles upon a mysterious ring her seemingly normal existence is quickly turned upside down with the discovery of her true heritage as a witch. Finally feeling as if she has found a purpose, Elle struggles to master her new abilities and learn to control her powers... as well as keep her true nature a hidden secret from the small-minded people in her town. Along with these supernatural gifts also comes the potential for deadly consequences and if Elle is not careful, finally belonging could cost her everything.
