Engaging mystery concerning Kincaid's ex-wife. It was clear early on the identity of the killer but not the killer. Duncan and Gemma seem to be struggling adjusting to their status as a couple. Gemma more so than Duncan and she doesn't make it easy for him.Her chastising him after the confrontation with Ashby is head scathing. Does he know what he is in for?

It wasn't till the end of this book that I understood the title. This was a stunning story. Like others who reviewed it, to me it is a pivotal step for the series. I was spellbound from page one.

A bit long-winded, I think. Good mystery, but not very believable that the detective would take on this case for his ex. At any rate, with loads of driving about Cambridge and tea drinking, the last quarter of the book gets interesting. Would have liked to have seen a bit more character description of the detectives, as this is my first Kincaid book. Ok diversion for the price (nook).
