This poetry collection comprises fifty-three of Richard Underwood poems.
The forty-one eclectic poems includes love poems (Still I Will Love You, I Only Said I Love You, Your Love Makes Me Complete, etc.), war poems (IED, Goodnight, The Battle Raged, etc.) funeral poems (Biker, Cancer Didn't Win, Alzheimer's, etc.) comic poems (The Fly, Recession), observational poems (Old Age Doesn't Come On Its Own, Psychosis, Christmas Sadness, etc.) together with many other charming and thoughtful poems on many different subjects.
The book concludes with twelve comic monologues based upon famous characters from the Old Testament. Find out how upset Adam was that he hadn't got a mum to run home to, why Noah's Ark stank, and why Moses would have liked to have carried the Ten Commandments around on an iPad rather than on dirty-great tablets of stone.
