About the Author

Jessica Gibson is a recovering bookaholic, she's down from four books a week to a more reasonable one. It was that love of words and creativity that made her dream about writing her first book. That dream was hidden for years, always put on the back burner, filed away in the "someday" section, until her husband Matt gave her the kick in the pants she needed to actually get off her butt and write.
Jessica and Matt live in Southern California and have a serious addiction to reality tv shows like Pawn Stars and American Restoration. They have one son and hope to add to the family in the near future.
Aside from writing, she runs an online event planning business called the Release Day Diva. In addition to novels, Jessica writes and maintains the blog Book on the Bright Side. Keep up with Jessica and her latest releases and events on her blog.

Lorelei knows that her life is about to change. In the beginning of this story, she knows that her four year anniversary with Dillon is either going to result in a proposal or the end of their relationship. She hasn't put any demands on him to propose, but Dillon's strange behavior has her worried. Everyone else in her life is convinced that they are meant to be though. When the actual day comes, the inevitable happens and Lorelei is happily engaged. This is where things start to go down hill. The very next morning, a woman shows up at their home announcing that she is Dillon's wife, a claim that Dillon cannot deny. What is Lorelei to do? Stay with the man she loves while his divorce is worked out or leave him for his dishonesty? This little hiccup is not the only one that Dillon and Lorelei encounter. His soon-to-be ex-wife causes all kinds of trouble causing Lorelei to continually doubt how honest Dillon has really been. Lorelei's sister Kayla also moves in with them announcing that she is pregnant and alone. Their jobs cause continuous stress, but nothing that threatens their upcoming nuptials. I gave this book four roses because I liked it, but the characters kind of drove me nuts. In reality, they probably acted exactly like two people put in such a stressful situation would, but I just didn't like how Lorelei seems to always run away from her problems. She tries to leave Dillon a couple of times. The last time she does, I wanted to scream at her because Dillon was doing everything he could to remedy their situation. Otherwise, it has an interesting story. Read more reviews at Identity Discovery Blog.

I have read books by Jessica Gibson before however, they were all paranormal so I wasnt too sure of what to get with Dressed in White, but let me tell you it was so amazing!! I think we got more of a twist on this one normally the drama unfolds from the main character and as a female her ex's however, that was not the case in Dressed in White it was a nice change. This is one book that you can just relax and enjoy. The drama that unfolds is captivating. I think Jessica Gibson really out did herself with this one and I can't wait to read the sequel!!

This was my first read from Jennifer Gibson so I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I saw this cover I was expecting a romantic and sweet read. I got that and a little more.  The story centers on a couple Lorelai and Dillion. They have been together for 4 years and just when it looks like they will be planning their future and unexpected visitor sends their lives into a tailspin. A lie by omission is no less painful than lying right to someone’s face and Dillion is learning that the hard way. When his past threatens his future with Lorelai he pulls out all of the stops to make things right. But is love enough to overcome the pain and destruction that is caused? Can Lorelai stand her ground and fight for her true love or will she succumb to the outside forces trying to destroy her happiness. As a true romantic, I was hoping that Dillion and Lorelai would allow the past to be the past and find a way to make their dream of a happy ever after a reality. The characters were relatable. I could sympathize with Lorelai’s reaction and I admired her determination to stand her ground and not allow another person to steal away her happiness.  So if you are looking for a light and engaging read go grab Dressed in White and enjoy. I will be looking forward to upcoming novels from this author.

I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. This review is 100% my own opinion.I loved this book, and read it in 2 days.  This is a romance novel lovers dream come true. I'm a romantic at heart so I instantly fell in love with it.  This book is like a soap opera. Things alternate from going great to drama in the blink of an eye. I don't know that I'd be as accepting as Lorelei was about Dillion's past. I couldn't believe Dillion in some aspects. In others, I fell totally in love with him and saw why Lorelei loved him so much. I was on the edge of my seat wanting to see what happens next. I fell in love with all of the characters.  I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. I give this book a 5 out of 5.

I really liked this book. I love the way Jessica pulls you into what her characters are feeling. While Lorelei is planning her wedding she goes through a lot with her releationship. You feel her ups and downs. It was a great book. It is nice to read a book that shows not all releationships are perfect. But if you really love the the one you are with you can get through anything. Looking forward to reading the next one.
