Overview

IMOGEN: Jesse says you better know what you're doing with Franco.
ME: Dude, I'm scared.
IMOGEN: !! What? Tell me!
ME: He makes me FEEL THINGS. It's icky and I don't like it.
IMOGEN: You've known him what, a few hours?
ME: I'm telling you, he scares the sh*t out of me. But he's so good I can't stop myself.
IMOGEN: Audra, seriously. Chill. It's been a couple hours. It's just insta-lust.

I send Imogen another selfie, this one of my face--I'm biting my lower lip, eyes wide, glancing to the side at Franco laying next to me--his mouthwatering and lust-inducing body is on full display from the waist up. I send a caption a second later:

ME: YOU DONT UNDERSTAND!!! HE'S GOT A MAGICAL D*CK AND I'M FEELING THINGS!!!
ME: Uh-oh. He's waking up. Time for round...3? 4? I've lost count. Tell me I'm a cold-hearted man-eating b*tch with no soul. Tell ME!
IMOGEN: You're a cold-hearted man-eating bi*ch with no soul? Only, you're not. So...you're on own with this one. Except if you need me of course. I've got All Thai'd Up on speed dial, three bottles of Josh in the rack.
ME: if this goes south--or anywhere except nowhere, you'd better make it four. Or six. Because we're either going to be incredible together, or we'll destroy each other. There will be no in between.

I set the phone aside as Franco's stunning blue eyes open and fix hungrily on me. He reaches for me, and all thoughts are banished except one:

God, I hope I know what I'm doing...

I laugh internally at that, because does anyone know what they're doing?

I know I sure as hell don't.

Drilled is the second book in the Dad Bod Contracting series. I really love this series. It has real people in everyday life situations with really spicy, sexy times! The heroines are strong and full of spunk and the men are hot and dreamy. Audra and Franco’s story is great! They both have rules and tall walls guarding their hearts. They don’t want to break those rules or get too close, but they can’t resist each other. Their attraction is more than physical, it is elemental. One click today and enjoy the ride of the push and pull and chipping away at their walls. Clothes fly during it all. I am so excited for the next book in the series. Bring on more Dad Bods!

Ohh these two characters took me for a loop. I LOVED them but at the same time wanted to slap the crap out of them. HAHA. Audra and Franco's story is unique in a way that makes sure that you do not want to put this story down until the very last word in the book. Audra and Franco take you into their love and steal you away and don't let you go. At first, I thought I had missed something but very quickly it became apparent I had not. Both Franco and Audra have a history of not trusting and doing lots of one night stands or the 3 or 4-night rule. It is interesting to watch two people fight their feelings for each other because of their past. I enjoyed this story and how Jasinda set up her next book. Can't wait to read it!

A downright steamy and hilarious read with some unexpected moments that completely gave me the feels! I absolutely love the books that I’ve read by Jasinda Wilder and when I read Hammered (book 1), I knew that I would always want my hands on this series. Jasinda is queen at writing the steamy scenes, might need a fan or perhaps a bucket of water to cool off. There were quite a few moments that I liked more than the other. Audra’s inner dialogue was rather hilarious at times, but I couldn’t help but feel for her a bit and inability to love someone. Audra and Franco are products of broken relationships, so they both think that it’s not in their nature to be committed and love someone. I was kind of wishing for a dual POV because I wanted to see more into Franco’s mind. Because as much as Audra’s wheels were turning, so were his. I didn’t quite connect with Audra and Franco’s relationship like I hoped, but it was still evident that they were meant for each other. It was just the matter of them getting past their fear and just be together. I was not expecting to have the feels with this, not at all. When a little heart to heart happens, it completely tugged at mine. Way to turn the tables a bit on us, Jasinda. But probably my favorite part of the book was the brotherhood that is Franco, Jesse, James, and Ryder. These four are more than best friends, they’re brothers, they make Dad Bod Contracting. Their bond is absolutely unbreakable and something I loved soooooo much. It warmed my heart to know that these four would drop everything if one of them needed something. I sooooo want to tell you more about them, but you have to read the book to find out. We don’t even have the next books yet, but I just want to hug and hold these guys forever! Definitely enjoyed this book and love this series so much! Can’t wait for the next one!

Drilled by Jasinda Wilder is the second book in her Dad Bod Contracting Series. Every book is about another couple and can be read as standalones. Drilled is Franco and Audra's story. We already met the maincharacters in Hammered, Imogen and Jesse's story and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. And what can I say, I was so not disappointed. Franco and Audra are both in their fourties, set in their ways, and to call them commitment phobes is a understatement. They love their independence and ons's are a great way to them. Both ahve ties to Jesse and Imogen. Imogen and Audra are best friends since forever and Jesse and Franco are co-workers and friend too. They love the friends but can't understand their mushy behavior. No they rather act like bunnies without commitment and it seems to work for them. 'til it doesn't work anymore. Bith are unhappy but done't know how to change it. Like said, they're set. They have a lot of work set out and the question is are they willing to make it work. I liked the story and the characters, but and yes, there's a but I didn't like their actions very much. Both are alpha characters and they know what they want and how to get it, but at what costs? Don't get me wrong, I love their lovestory, only the way to their HEA had me a bit in knots. But the storyline is unique and the writing is brilliant. I give 4,5 wonderful stars. and can't wait to read Nailed - book three - Ryder and Laurel's story.

The Dad Bod Contracting guys are Hot, Sexy and just so darn Loveable. Drilled is Franco and Imogen’s story. These two are quite the pair and the author has done a wonderful job of telling their story as well as delving into more of the connection between the 4 men who are as close as brothers. Franco and Imogen have similar relationship issues. For starters, they both have a 3 to 4 max rule (meaning they won’t see the same person more than 3 or 4 times) and they both no clue how to deal with unwanted feelings. Granted with incidents in their respective pasts, these similarities may be warranted, but what happens when they hook up and rockets go off, lighting bolts light up the sky and feelings start to worm their way in? Well if I did spoilers, I’d tell ya, but I just can’t ruin this one. Let’s just say there is a lot more to Franco than just his six pack, good looks and according to Imogen his Magical D*ck and there is more to Imogen than her crazy personality, her happy go lucky lifestyle and according to Franco her tight sexy butt. While these two might have a lot of baggage, at least in their own minds, their story is sexy, fun and soooooo worth reading. Drilled is fast paced with a humorous storyline and a great addition to the series. If you haven’t read book 1, Hammered, I Highly Recommend grabbing up both ASAP. You won’t be sorry you did.

Oh wow! I really don’t know how Jasinda does it. Her books are just amazing, they just suck you in and you don’t want to leave the world that your reading. It happens every time I read a book by her. This book it is hot and steamy to say the least. It also has a great humour to it. I love that the characters in this series are in there 40’s yet when reading it, it feels like there younger. I loved the back and forth with Franco and Audra. Although some times I could have bopped her on the head. I can’t believe that this is only the second book in the series. I can only imagine what is going to happen with the next one.

I received a free copy of this book from the author. Drilled is the second book in the Dad Bod Series. It can be read as a stand alone novel though the majority of the characters are introduced in the first book that are in this novel as well. As you can tell from the blurb this book is a funny one. Poor Audra - she's running scared! It's not only her though. Franco is just about as bad. We have two people afraid of commitment that can't stay away from one another. This could cause a major problem! Sometimes you just have to shake your head at some of these characters. These two are no exception. I enjoyed their story, though. They definitely make their story interesting. It's a love story that's messy, emotional for two commitment phobe's, and too touchy feely for Audra. Can you hear the evil laughs of the author? *insert evil grin* Definitely check out Audra and Franco's story. Let me know if you're in the all in or the I'm out team with these two.

This book gets off to one hell of a sizzling start, and it makes two things quite clear: Audra and Franco have amazing sexual chemistry and they both suck in the what-happens-after part of a hook-up with each other. I seriously wanted to smack these two upside the head more than once because they spent so much time trying to pretend that what they shared was nothing more than lust rather than be mature adults and talk about it. There are reasons, of course, why they are the way they are, and I liked getting to know these two better as their story progressed. It was also fun having the rest of the gang around because we get to see where Imogen Irving and Jesse O’Neill are at in their relationship as well as see who the other Dad Bod guys—James Bod and Ryder (whose last name I don’t recall being mentioned but if it was, feel free to let me know!)—are going to be paired with. 4.5 stars go to Drilled and I can’t wait for more from this fab series. ♥

The latest installment in the Dad Bod series continued right where the first one left off. This is a stand alone in a series, but much more fun to read them all. The series about a team of hot men who work at the same construction company is pure fantasy. I can only imagine what they would look like. This story is a little unique in that the main characters are all in their 40s, so that is fun too. Audra and Franco have real chemistry from the start and can’t stay away from one another. I love that they may look perfect on the outside, but they both have their own inner demons to work through so they can be together. What a fun read!

I LOVED this book!! So I already knew that the Dad Bod Contracting series was going to be good after I read the first one. I am loving these characters so hard. First of all I love a book from one POV, I never thought I would be that person that gets picky. This story was so easy to follow and I became even more of a Jasinda fan. I love her writing!! Audra and Franco's story was so darn good. Two people who don't believe in love, but fall for each other. The friendships formed and the relationships and stories for the future are just so perfect. I love love love this series!! "Deep down I'm terrified of connecting with someone again and having them rip it away from me."

"Franco and I mix to create a fireball—that's our chemistry. Even now, with all this boiling between us, I feel that combustion sizzling." Hot damn! I felt their combustion sizzling too! But, if I'm being honest, what I liked the most about this story is the friendship. Not only among the girls but the men's bromance as well. There's a tight bond and their no-matter-what support for each other is something we'd all love to have in our lives. Yeah, they all give each other hell and the witty banter is hilarious, but beneath it all, there's deep affection. As this series progresses I'm getting more and more addicted to the amazing cast of characters. This installment peeled back even more layers and I got to see how Dad Bod Contracting got started. And no, I haven't changed my mind, if I could find the phone number I'd be calling to have something fixed, even if I had to break it first. Imogen's best friend is badass. She takes no shit from nobody, except herself. She's been hiding from her past for a decade and it's not until Franco rocks her world that she crashes into the wall she's built around her heart. She wants him, but she doesn't want to. She has a fuck and flee system that works very well for her... until him. What happens when for the first time she doesn't want to leave? She tries to flee her feelings, but it doesn't work. Good thing she's got the best bestie ever, right? At least she can get drunk and share magical unicorn dick stories. Franco is magical in other ways too, but that's not something she wants to consider. Getting to know a hookup is against the rules. Too bad he is best friends and also works with Imogen's man, so there's no avoiding him. She tries to hide the drool when they are near each other, but her friends feel the sexual tension between them. Hopefully, their 'fireball' won't take them all out. I'm keeping a fire extinguisher near my Kindle just to be safe... I can't wait to get my hands on the next dad bod, I mean story. The girl talk is so fun and I'm excited to for the sass to be aimed in another direction. Taunts like, "—might be pregnant from how hard Franco was eye-fucking her." can go both ways, right? Look out, it's gonna be good! The line forms here...

The feels! So this book left me with an emotional high. A very good one. Franco & Audra's story is full of soo many emotions I was getting whiplash of who I wanted to console, who I wanted to slap for being so stubborn. These two were fascinating to read. I liked how Author Jasinda Wilder gave us these flawed characters and showed us their journey in finding how to deal with fixing themselves with self discovery as well as finding their equal! Loving this series & can't wait to see what happens next with the Bod Contracting men! A Must Read!
