Overview

A bad boy. A good girl. A second chance that could send them both up in flames.

Emily was a cop's daughter, and I was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. At eighteen, our affair was wild and completely secret. Until she left town for college and a better life, and I hit the road to nowhere.

Eight years later, we're both back in town. My father is in prison; she's selflessly helping her sister. We should be farther apart than we've ever been. But I've never been able to resist temptation, especially when that temptation is Emily.

I shouldn't go near her. But I do.

She shouldn't say yes. But she does.

Our chemistry is hotter than ever, but she's hiding something from me. Just like I'm hiding something from her. It's hard to tell whose secrets are more dangerous, until it all goes to hell.

I can save her - and she can save me. But we'll have to break the rules.

We're from different worlds. We don't belong together.

But in the end, Emily and I are going to have to get dirty.

## DNF. I could not get into this book. What ruined it for me was the heroine. She was so unlikeable. Right off the bat, her first time seeing the hero after 8 years, she's rude and condescending. She is embarrassed to be seen with him. How do you fall for someone like that? And he says in his inner dialogue several times what a (b) witch she is. That she's always been stuck up and dramatic. huh? I just couldn't continue. Maybe I'll try tomorrow again. Loved Jace's story though.

Julie Kriss started a new series. Initially Luke Riggs is her focus. Ms. Kriss changes the perspective of a chapter from Luke's point of reference or Emily's. Emily was one of the rwin daughters of her police officer mather. She was from a good family, with a good name, a college graduate. Luke was from the wrong side of the tracks, whose father had four sons that he neglected. They were from different worlds but it didn't stop them from having the best sex in their life !!! Luke was the bad boy without even trying. He knew that he did not have a chance to date Emily, until one night they met and from then on Emily was his. Luke was Emily's secret. He was her summer fling before she left for college. As long as nobody knew it !! Now high school was years ago and she hadn't seen Luke since. Now she was going home, and she was facing choices... what would she do? I found the characters interesting, and the storyline intriguing. Explicit sex so for mature audiences.

Very rarely do I give a 5 star rating....especially for such a short book. However, I loved every minute of this read! The characters have such chemistry, but not in the stereotype romance book way. They are opposites but yet complemented each other nicely. It has humor, drama, suspense, sex, moral dilemma, heartache and love. This is one of the few books that makes me actually want to spend money to read the stories about the other characters!!

Bad boy gone good. The description of Luke matches the front page and it makes it better. I enjoyed Emily's persona and how oblivious she can be. Overall it was a good book. Can't wait to read the next one!

Great story..... I love how this book is the perfect length doesn't drag out any paticular scene. I have a feeling these Riggs boys are going to be a hot series.

Luke and Emily story started as teenage lovers, then the second chance they have started 8 years later. When Emily meets Luke again, but being the guy from the wrong side of the tracks won't be easy for her attitude towards his situation, he however doesn't want to be judge because of his family, he wants to be seen for who he is. This book is one I can recommend and getting to read the next one is amazing, one you can't put down.

Drive Me Wild by Julie Kriss is the first book in her interconnected Riggs Brothers series. Told in dual POV, this series focuses on the Riggs brothers and their stories, starting in book one with Luka and Emily. A boy from the wrong side of the tracks and a girl whose mother is the police captain of their small town makes for an awkward family dinner UNLESS you keep this kind of smoking hot relationship secret. It's just for the summer, right? Well-written and fast-paced Julie Kriss is a recently new to me author and I'm very glad I took a chance on her books. The stories flow well, read easy, are smoking hot, and have enough angst and drama to keep you enthralled but not too much so your left wore out by the end of the book. Loved this! Enjoy!

It was a pleasant read with a happy ending and a well developed plot. It was the typical good girl loves bad boy, yet he is triely a good guy trope. Throughly enjoyed it, can't wait to read more of the series.

This was my first read from Ms. Kriss and I must say I really enjoy her writing and this story. I wasn't the biggest fan of Emily in the beginning. I understand why she was scared to get involved with Luke, being a Riggs and from the other side of the tracks, but a part of me felt like it went a little too far. However, in the end, she more then made up for it and I accepted her more. Luke, I just loved, bad boy with a heart of gold will always hold my heart. This is a fun, quick read that I just loved and can't wait to read more from Julie! On to the next brother's story!

Didn't want to put this one down! Luke and Emily's chemistry felt so real! No wishy washy half built characters here. The interaction and conversation and inner monologue made me feel like I was in the characters head. Well written and exciting! Great for a fast paced read when you need a little getaway. Already bought the next story.
