About the Author
She is passionate about sharing the liberating wisdom teachings of the Buddhadharma, and practices Tranquillity and Insight meditation (Samatha-Vipassana) as one path of practice. A dedicated meditation practitioner, Danyah continues with interest to expand her understanding of mindfulness and heart-centred practices inspired by both traditional and contemporary authorities.
Danyah is an accredited teacher with Meditation Australia and the voice behind The Mellow Mind. She lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband and their rescue cat, Gizmo.
I'm Claire, a French graphic designer, typographer and lettering artist currently located in Bath, UK. I specialise in lettering and typography projects, working via my independent design studio Op45.
Currently my focus is on logotypes, branding and lettering illustration, and I work with clients all over the world on everything from personal projects to large corporate contracts. I also keep busy with typeface design, calligraphy, multilingual typography, layout and print design, as well as my continuing love for sketchbook keeping.
Born in Paris, I grew up in Europe and the Middle East before studying art and design for 4 years in the UK. I have since lived and worked/studied in Brussels, York, Prague, Paris, New York and now Bath. I have a BA (Hons) in Graphic Arts & Design and a Postgraduate Certificate in Typeface Design.
