The year is 1977. Over 7 days in October, this true-story, first person narrative takes place on the central coast of BC. During a record month of storms, the action picks up when the 2 spirited BC boys blitz across hundreds of kms of dangerous back roads to get to the closest cold beer store.

About the Author
Since 2010, the author has won awards in short story contests, has published e-fiction, and his short stories are published in three Canadian anthologies. He attended Simon Fraser University to pursue English as his major. Al enjoyed a lengthy career as a computer systems analyst and taught privately and as a college instructor. He is a member of the Vancouver chapter of the Canadian Authors Association. This novel is the second of 5 inspired by his travels on the coast of BC. “NATIONAL VOICES” anthologies 2012 & 2014 are available through the Canadian Authors Association.
