Although this book contains a lot of useful information for the beginner, it has a lot to be desired. Barnes and Noble identifies this document as a book even though it has no page numbers, the page layout is poorly done, and the pictures are not labeled (Figure 1, 2, 3, etc.). On the last page, the author identifies it as an e-book. As far as I am concerned, it does not qualify as meeting the definition of a book. There are typos, poor use grammar, misspelled words, the use of wrong words, and the addition of extra words on almost every page of the document. All of this makes it difficult to read and understand at times. In addition, the photographs used as examples are all in black and white. This is strange since this is a work on color photography and not black and white photography. A book on color photography needs to have the examples in color. I believe the author is knowledgeable on the subject matter and has valuable information to convey to the beginning photographer, however, the document needs major editing prior to continuing to be sold. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this document to others.
