This is such a feel-good, family friendly film. As costar Christian Kane has said, it really is a Rocky movie in animal form.. I'm always a sucker for the underdog, and the cowboys and their horse certainly fit the bill from the beginning.. Watching that race again was just as exciting this time as it was when I watched the original Derby. Sitting in my family I was urging that horse along and cheering as he passed so many horses to reach the finish line so far ahead. Christian Kane gave a strong performance in a role he genuinely enjoyed.
