I can't even believe this DVD made it off the drawing board! This is by far the worst children's DVD I have ever seen! The producers/directors had zero creativity and it looks like a home video created at a low-budget day care center. The children portrayed in the video even seem bored with the actions they were made to do, and when the songs they sing lack any distinct story (ie. have no noun for a main character) they simply stand around and wave their arms for five minutes. Also, there's a song about Jack jumping over a candlestick where the group proceeds to leap over lit candles in a sandbox. I thought "Smokey the Bear" taught our children not to play with fire - I was worried the whole time that a child might fall on the flames - not something I want my toddler to watch! And, for the Kookaburra song, they show a tucan; those two birds don't even live on the same continent! And what's with the scary face paint? It's awkward, creepy and I wouldn't let my son anywhere near the "star" of the show in her puffy dress who chases after the children, some of whom are too old to be in a kid's movie. I can't believe anyone would put their name on such a video - you will have more fun dressing up and making your own home movie! Don't waste your money or your time.
