Love this show. Enjoyed watching and discussing with family and freinds. When are the other seasons going to be released on DVD?

I love this show. It is one of the greatest new shows that has come out in a really long time.

I don't have this dvd, but I have been a fan of this show since the beginning. I plan my Sundays around it and no one is aloud to bother me when it's on. It is so well done. The acting superb, and I love the costumes and music, especially. It was such a tumultuous time but gives real insight into how lives were shaped in the 60's. Now with the Pryors connected to the war, it has a lot of similar undertones with families today. Since the beginning, every episode is better than the last. I'm so glad to see this show getting publicity with it out on DVD already.

I cry almost every time I get to watch this wonderful show. This is my favorite era in time and they play it so perfectly.

American Dreams is such a good show, I look forward to every Sunday night so I can watch it. What's great about the shows is that today's themes are being brought up in a different era... love, racial issues, family problems, music, and much more. I love the way they integrate musical artists from today into the show.

I was reluctant to watch this show when it first aired, but have become a loyal viewer. The writing, the acting, the music and the characters all meld together to create a moving, believable, amazing story. There is a sincerity to the people in this show that connects your life to theirs. It has even to brought me, a 20-something, closer to my father, who remembers the 60's, by watching and discussing the show with him each week.

I have not missed an episode of this show since it came on tv. I think that out of all three seasons the first one is the best season yet. Brittany Snow plays the part of Meg Pryor who is a teenage regular on American Bandstand and is also the second child of 4 kids. It is the best show I ever watched and I am sure you would like it to (but you might cry during some episodes).

With all the horrible reality television on air today, it's great to have such an amazing drama to look forward to every week. I love the sixties and American Dreams provides an excellent insight into what life was really like then. Combining incredible music, classic Bandstand footage and today's hit singers, American Dreams shouldn't be missed, and is a great show for families. I just wish the DVD set was cheaper!!!
