As the mayoral race heats up in a small New Jersey suburb, the mud starts to fly and the political tempers start to flare. With three candidates vying for the same position in a two party system, the race is on to see who's the best man for the job. As if the race wasn't already interesting enough, the fact that two of the three candidates are legally blind makes this election one of the most unique in the entire country.
This wonderful documentary follows the 2003 mayoral election in the small town of Bogota, New Jersey; I was born there...you know. This ground level, insiders view of the political process is at times educational, insightful, funny, and touching. It was produced by the talented Mr. Perez. All I have to say about director Kristian Fraga is, oh my!
