This is a treat. It is about a sinister penguin man played by Danny De Vito who batman must stop as soon as possible. Then there is a young sexy secretery who becomes catwoman a evil but beautifull criminal who Bruce Wayne unknowingly falls in love with. Tim Burton does a great job making a dark nightmarish movie that Joel Shumacher destroyed. De Vito does an exellent job as the penguin and he is much more evil then Burgess Meridith who played him just like a stupid nut. SEE IT!

Batman Returns as the Dark Knight battles two new villains who are about to destroy Gotham City on Christmas. Michael Keaton returns as the Cape Crusader. Michelle Pfeiffer is oh so sexy as Catwoman/ Selina Kyle, and Danny DeVito as the horrific Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot. Director Tim Burton and Composer Danny Elfman both return in the second Batman movie. Although this film may be frighten for small children, this sequel to the 1989 movie is an excellent movie. I love this movie and of course, BATMAN.

This is definally one of the better batman movies. It shows batmans dark mysterious personality really good, and Michele Phieffeir and Danny Devito do great as Catwoman and Peigiun. Like Batman Forever (its followup) it really brings Gotham City to life, and makes me think of the cartoon series. This is a great movie that comic book fans should not miss.

I liked batman's black costum with more edges and curves .Unlike batman's stupid costumes in forever and b.and robin, batman's costume in part 2 added more mystriousness and strength to batman's appearance. I like also the darkeness that surrounded the movie scenes and took the samme track as batman 1, u ll be missin alot if u didnt see that movie!

This film is the best Batman film in the whole series.Although much darker than the original, it gives off a unique atmosphere. Keaton is courageous(better than Val Kilmer). DeVito is scary, yet comical. And last, but not least is Pfhieffer's Catwoman. To make a long story short the story takes place at Christmas time. The end of the film leaves you in torturing wonder. I think anyone who likes Tim Burton films should definatly watch this film.

Tim Burton beat the sophomore jinx with this brilliant 1992 sequel to his 1989 masterpiece "Batman". Michael Keaton returns to play the titular title character in "Batman Returns", and this time he's up against two new villians: the grotesque Penguin (a perfectly cast Danny DeVito) and the sexy Catwoman (Mihcelle Pfeiffer), as well as corrupt businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken). Like the last one, everything is perfect. The plot is also much more disturbing and can be enjoyed by more people. Every castmember put in excellent performances, but Michelle Pfeiffer really stole the show. This film and the first one are highly recommened. Also, go see "Batman Begins".

Tim Burtons second film of Batman is just as good as the first one he made! First it was the great performance of Jack Nicholson and Micheal Keaton, then it was Danni Davito and Micheal Keaton again! Pick up this movie, you will like it, honest!

This film is the sequel to the burton film Batman, another great film. This is a well written film with all characters well portrayed by there respective actors. But some might say its to much burton, and I say this myself, if you dont like burton, dont buy this, the entire movie is him, this had his 100% control.

Comic Book movies seem to be a new fad, and a quick dieing one at that! Since the recent box-office and critic flop of the Hulk and some others, comic movies may end up short lived. But I think that Batman Returns set an example for some, and should be used to set an example for more of these types of movies to come. Tim Burton reached high heights in giving the audience respect for all characters and keeping us wanting more. There wasn't blazing lights like in the unlikeable Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. But it kept to the script and characters, which more movies need to do. Which some have done like Spiderman and X2
