Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Magical World fills the gap for those of us who have to wait till 2010 to see the original Beauty and the Beast. Basically this is most-likely a collection of stories that were the pilot for a television series that never got of the ground. Unlike some of the other Disney animated movies, Beauty and the Beast did not leave much time line for a TV series, and while this collection is enjoyable it was probably a good idea for Disney to scrap the project. The majority of the stories revolve around Belle and the Beast arguing, with the Beast learning his lesson but in the next story the Beast is back to his old self. I think fans of the original movie will like to have this in their collection, and I think children will like it to, though it is about 93 minutes which is longer than most Disney movies, but the four segments can be paused and then resumed later to keep the kids from being bored.
