I found it very simple. And very plain. Maybe good as a kid's movie, but not something that adults will like. You might as well pass on this, thank you.

If you are a fan of the man Jerry Seinfeld you will surely love this movie. If you are like me and Mr. Jerry Seinfeld is just an ok guy and doesn't knock your socks off your will probabley feel similar about his movie. A lot of the funny lines are held buy supporting bees. I think this movie is worth watching one time but it is not due for a repeat performance. Kids will love it! And I for one would like my kids to be ignorant and have an imagination then be uncreative and smarty pants.

Dan "The Movie Man" Wolfson should be punished somehow for the previous, ridiculous comment. The amount of times you can fit BEE into a paragraph does not showcase creativity, only some sort of mental processing problem. With that said this movie was horrible. There's no way to suspend disbelief when you see an insect arguing a case in the supreme court. Maybe we should think about how ignorant we're making our children with stuff like this. Maybe Dan's parents should have thought of that too. :"

Jerry Seinfeld hit a homerun with this movie. It brings attention to the growing disappearance of bees on the planet. One doesn't realize how very important that bees actually are until you see this movie. Bees affect many aspects of our lives that may be forever changed if we cannot stop the disappearance of bees. This is a good movie for any age even if the little ones don't really understand the unlying message.

If you haven't noticed it already, Dreamworks is (shamelessly) known for following in Pixar's footsteps. Pixar came out with A Bug's Life, then Dreamworks came out with Antz. Pixar: Monsters, Inc.; Dreamworks: Shrek Pixar: Finding Nemo; Dreamworks: Shark Tale Then Dreamworks got sneaky and coppied Pixar's Ratatouille and made Bee Movie. A human and an animal communicating in some way in our modern world and help each other out. I'll be brief in my review: #1) In Ratatouille, the human can't understand the rat. Pixar took the extra time and effort to make them communicate in more creative ways. In Bee Movie, the bee and the girl simply just talk to each other (and nearly fall in love, of course). #2) In Ratatouille, the RAT DOESN'T HOLD A COURT CASE BY SUING THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE. The bee does. If you want quality entertainment where the movie makers don't treat you and your two year like retards, then watch Ratatouille. If you want a good laugh, read the very first review posted on this thread (titled, "Un-Bee-leivably Funny), then read the one directly after that ("hmmmm"). With the exception of Over the Hedge, (and BARELY Kung-Fu Panda), Dreamworks needs to get their act together.

You won't BEE-lieve how funny this movie is. It's anything but a BEE-movie, it's an AAA movie. Jerry Seinfeld is so funny as the Bee. He'll make you want to say "Oh BEE-have" BEE-cause his antics are non-stop. If anyone say they don't like this movie, I wouldn't BEE-lieve them. BEE sure to pick it up soon!

Bee Movie with the voice talents of Jerry Seinfeld, Renee Zellweger, John Goodman, Matthew B. and several more has a "cool" soundtrack. The storyline explains how insects and flowers assist with producing food as well as beautiful landscapes for humans. In the storyline the purpose of the bee is told. This is a good DVD for parents or adults to watch with children. Some of the behavior & language will hopefully go above the children's heads. *Beautiful, vibrant colors will draw the children's attention and keep them interested in the tale of the bee.

This was no "Bug's Life." The jokes were contrived and most of them fell flat. This movie had so much potential. The inner-workings of the bee hive were fascinating and creative, but the plot felt forced.

The Bee Movie is a very good movie if you're a Jerry Seinfield fan. Renee Zellweger is absolutely funny in this cartoon. She defended Barry B. Benson (Seinfield) against store employee by swatting him away with a rolled magazine. John Goodman and feigning death sequences and Patrick Warburton's issues with other people makes want to laugh. Matthew Broderick's character as Barry B. Benson's closest friend is touching.
