I love this series, and the ending is simply excellent.

If you gave up on "Being Human" after Season 4 with Lenora Crichlow's departure, you missed a terrific fifth and final season.  The three young actors who took over as the leads meshed together surprisingly well, carrying off creator Toby Whithouse's trademark mix of pathos and humor with ease.  The 5th season brings a worthy conclusion to the central question of the struggle to remain human against overwhelming odds.  The final episode, "The Final Broadcast," ranks as one of the show's best with the team fighting an epic battle with the Devil himself.   An added scene available on the DVD adds clarity to the battle's outcome and would have made a perfect setup to a sixth season.  The fifth season, indeed the entire series, are highly recommended.
