Bones - Season 1

Season 1 of the crime drama begins with forensic anthropologist Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) back in D.C. after months away identifying genocide victims. Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) promptly hijacks her to help him with a case.\ Brennan initially refuses, but her boss at the Jeffersonian Institute, Dr. Daniel Goodman (Jonathan Adams), insists that part of her job is being lent out to the FBI. She agrees to work with Booth, but only if she can be his partner in all areas of the cases. The first of these cases establishes the premise for the next 21 episodes. After a body surfaces, the remains are transferred to the Jeffersonian, where Brennan and her devoted "squints" leap to action. Brennan's team includes her assistant, the socially inept but brilliant Zack Addy (Eric Millegan); bugs and slime expert Dr. Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne); and her best friend, forensic artist Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin). The main suspect turns out to be a powerful senator, but despite warnings from the FBI to stay away, Brennan continues with her investigation. Throughout the season, Brennan and Booth are devoted to uncovering the truth, repeatedly finding themselves in dangerous situations and relying on each other for backup. Booth eventually confides to Brennan that he wants to bring closure to victims' loved ones to make up for the lives he took in his sniper past. Brennan, meanwhile, is dedicated to identifying the deceased as a result of the mysterious disappearance of her parents years ago. The duo work together to solve crimes involving small-town cannibals, promiscuous private-school teens and a homeless society in an underground tunnel. As each case draws to a close, the bantering pair grow more intimate, a closeness heightened during the season finale, when unearthed bones provide a link to Brennan's past that may reunite her with the family she thought was lost forever.

This is like the best show EVER!!! I love it. I love the Brennan and Booth combination. They are terrific! They're funny and seriously respect each other. And, they ride the razor's edge on the sexual tension. Oh and I love Zack with his big brain and childlike naivete. Plus, who wouldn't like a show with a little gore and guts in it? They have some very strange cases. This is just a great show. I haven't bought the DVDs yet, but they are definitely on my wish list. You can't go wrong with this series.

I really enjoy this show because it is an unusual drama that can be serious and funny at the same time. I also love the interaction between the characters.

I didn't think I would get hooked on another "Procedural Cop show" but Bones is nothing like that, it is spetacular beyond all measure. It is insightful and educational on how forensics solves crimes and the chemistry between Booth and Bones is unbelivable. These two are definetly soul mates. Definetly a show worth watching and I CAN"T wait to watch the other seasons. :))

Bones is awsome and everyone else on the forum agree! Bones is a fasinating, captivating, enticing tv show. This show had me hitched since the begining and you will be too! If you love shows like CSI, NCIS and Criminal Minds you might want to check this out. I have found that every Wednesday I want to watch it rerun or not. It is just amazing how they pull things off. If you go on to it is not to late to catch the second seasons first episodes. Join me at squint central in the bones forum. See you there!

Bones is like a mixture of the X-Files and House put together. I have to say some of the bodies shown in the show are kind of grose, but its really cool how they can identify a dead person by looking and examining their bones. I'm excited to see the rest of the series. I can't wait! #1 Fan!

It is much better than CSI and that NUMB3RS together. You fall in love with Forensic Antropology not just because it is about you but also because the characters are beautiful both physically and psychologically. It is extremely entertaining and intelligent. And while you are deeply inmersed in the plots you casually happen to learn about yourself and your species.

I always learn something new from watching an episode of Bones. I enjoyed the series from the beginning, as much for the storylines as for the chemistry between the characters. While Temperance can be exasperating at times, her evolution as a person has been interesting to watch. This is one of few television series that I have bought the DVD sets of and I look forward to many years of re-watching the gang at the Jeffersonian.

I love Bones! I saw the first espode on fox the day it aired. I could not take my eyes off the screen! Bones is a awsome role model for young girls she proves that beging smart is good. I have the first season and can't wait for the second season. I think Booth and Bones will hook up over time. It's funny to watch them fight though. Some of my favorte epsodes are Man in the morge, Pilot, Man in the bear,Man in the fallout sheleter. Enjoy!
