"The hilarity doesn't let up for a moment in this classic screwball comedy starring Cary Grant and the irrepressible Katherine Hepburn. Grant plays David Huxely, an up-tight, stuffy paleontologist who works in a museum where he is putting together the skeleton of an enormous brontosaurus. It is nearly complete and only needs one bone to be perfect. If he cannot finish the project, he will lose the million-dollar donation needed to keep the museum afloat. While awaiting for the needed bone to arrive, Huxely goes out to schmooze with the associates of his potential benefactor, a wealthy old dowager who keeps tight hold of her purse strings. While on a golf course, he has a run-in with the irrepressible, unfathomable Susan Vance, an imp if ever there was. Deciding on the spot that David is the man for her, she proceeds to bedevil him at every turn. When she learns that he is planning to solicit her aunt for the million, a sum she herself wants, she uses it to full advantage. Poor David's orderly world is further shook up when Susan introduces him to Baby, the tame leopard that she is to bring to her auntie's New England home. Once there, the bone is buried by the aunt's dog, David is introduced as a mental patient, Baby escapes, a dangerous circus leopard escapes, a bogus Great White Hunter comes for dinner, and everyone ends up in jail. And that is only part of the riotous story."
