Crest of the Stars volume 1 is part of a set for an on going epic Sci-Fi saga. Sure you're thinking Sci-Fi and are start thinking of Cowboy bebop, Outlaw Star, but this succeeds them both. It starts out with a young boy named Jinto, his home plantet was invaded buy the Humankind Empire Abh, During all of this chaos he finds him self a noble amoung these aliens, and is now traveling to Sufugnoff, when everything takes a turn for the worce. This is one of the best anime titles to buy; it has great animation, complex characters, and much more. If you're not a Sci-Fi fan, check out this anime anyway, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did. I suggest picking up this DVD and adding it to your DVD collection.

Crest of the Stars: To the Stars is the first in a 4 part series. Jinto is on his way to study at the school of the empire. Through some strange events he has become a nobleman and must undergo this task. He is greeted by pilot trainee Abriel of the Gosroth ship who is to escort him to the ship. Having never been asked her name she tells Jinto her name is Lafiel, a name few have ever called her. This series has an excellent character development and relationship interaction, not to mention the introduction to a whole new world in space. I greatly recommend this title to anyone. It has beautiful graphics that should be seen by everyone.
