Paul Robeson's most well known movies are included in this box set. For that alone it's worth the purchase. The biggest drawback is that it doesn't include any material of Paul Robeson in concert, though the musical interludes in all of the sound films feature his glorious singing. The documentaries are enlightening, though none compare to 'Here I Stand', the 1999 documentary which features interviews, personal recollections and singing by Robeson. Still, they nicely round out this collection of films by a major twentieth century artist and activist.
