Crossing Jordan - Season 1

Join a quirky team of misfit coroners willing to put their forensic skills to the test in Season 1 of Crossing Jordan. Smart, conflicted, and unconventional, Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh (Jill Hennessy) is a forensic pathologist whose obsession for solving homicides goes beyond the autopsy table. But the driving force behind her unorthodox investigative style is the one crime she hasn't been able to solve -- her mother's murder. Relive some of your favorite Crossing Jordan scenes with all 23 episodes, including the memorable pilot, on this five-disc set. Great moments include Jordan's battles with her boss, Dr. Garret Macy (Miguel Ferrer), and the first appearance of Detective Woody Hoyt (Jerry O'Connell). This initial season originally aired Monday nights at 9:00 on NBC’s 2001-2 schedule.

LOVE this show, one of my favorites. This show really mixed the elements of a police procedural with charcter-driven plots, which not something you find often on tv. It definitely should not have been cancelled, as it really had a lot more story to tell. 6 years was too long to wait for the first season dvd, I hope they hurry up with seasons 2-6

I remembered seeing some of the show on TV. Finally saw the first season of this and its a pretty good show. From the music, setting and characters. And of course the story arcs are interesting as well. Good season.

I love this show. I watch it everyday with my morning coffee. I wish it was still on, I also wish it would have a get together for a final show. I don't think the last episode was a finale.

i like police drama comedies--mostly BBC series box sets. This is a good show with some interesting characters unfortunately for me i just don't like the 2 main ones {Jordan and her boss}. After the 1st disc i felt like they were doing the same thing over and over and i couldn't figure out why a coroner was always out doing the detectives work. If i liked the characters this probably wouldn't matter (as in Bones and Castle) but i don't so for me this is only soso and i doubt that i will watch the rest of the set. A third viewing of all 5 sets of Foyle's War would be much more enjoyable.

Highly recommend. Use to see show once in a while and liked. Bought DVD and now I love show. It's so much better when you can see the shows in order and have some history of the characters. Wish they had more than season one available.
