Do not buy this unless you know dance routines already. This is not for a beginner who is trying to lose weight. You will get frustrated with all the complicated dance steps. Like i said, you must know a lot of dance steps before you buy this. I couldn't keep up with all the complicated steps and if you have bad knees you will do a lot of make up your own steps.

Yes, the instructor was a little stiff but you can still get a great workout from this tape! Some of the dance moves are corny but I still found them to be very effective. The instructor repeats the routine several times before the 'break down to allow you to catch on. I really enjoyed the various dance themes (i.e., Salsa, Funk, Retro, etc.). This tape is worth adding to your collection.

She was very stiff and seemed as though she was reading her combinations from a cue card, which may not be obvious to a non-fitness professional. To the trained eye you could see that she was uncomfortable and unsure of what she was doing which takes away from the routine. The routines were ok and after about the 3 or 4th combo you could work up a sweat. I have used some of them in my classes and my students enjoyed them. I do recommend the tape.

I bought this not expecting the kind of work out I get in the gym. I was wrong! Fun and easy to follow. I really felt this work out the next day.

The intro to this workout is cheesy. And you might feel silly doing some of these moves. But it will work you out, especially the funk section. When you first do the video, it's hard to keep up, but it gets a lot easier the second time. Just be sure to look at which foot she starts on.
