That's right 5-stars for Death Wish 3. This is one of my very favorite movies of all time. Charles Bronson never really hit the big time until 1974 with Death Wish, while he was in popular movies he was always with a huge cast of stars so it's hard to stand-out. Death Wish gave Bronson box office gold, but sadly he was type-casted after that. Death Wish 3 is my favorite of the series. This movie is not meant to be taken serious. The final act has Bronson leading a war agaisnt a whole bunch of gangbangers, the cops are there and even the people are suddelny pulling out guns they have hidden and fighting back. In some areas one can see this movie as a spoof of the first Death Wish. Sit back and enjoy. Take the movie for what it's worth. I love this movie. A must see for action fans and Bronson fans. Best part is while eating dinner with friends he goes outside kills a couple of bad guys then goes back into the house to eat like nothing happened, and who could forget the Giggler. Did I say I love this movie?

Honestly i found this movie quite enjoyable. I couldn't tell if it was the gang members with their terrible aim using VERY accurate handguns or the simple yet effective booby traps Kersey sets up in the tenements, but this movie gave me a laugh almost every scene and i recommend it to any fan of action movies. When Bronson pulls out a LAW missile launcher from a package thats delivered to his apartment and explains to the neighbor of his murdered friend what it is, ANYONE watching that scene knew that true destruction was about to commence. ...priceless. Charles Bronson is the epitome of American justice.
