Wow, movies just don't get much worse than this. As a fan of Kris Kristofferson, I was eager to see this unfamiliar work. But I was certainly disappointed. It makes no sense. It tries to be realistic by excellently recreating a time and place. Then it turns right around and nullifies that authenticity with cheap wigs, and bizarre scenes where people fade in and then fade out. One person is shot, stabbed, and beaten apparently to death 6 times. A person who has been shot in the leg and must be drug on a cart somehow can walk again miles later after the wound has gotten worse. Its just absurd!

A totally magical film. Supurb storytelling! This film takes you on a journey that leaves you with feelings of deep longing. One of the best ensemble casts that I have ever seen. Exceptional cinematography and use of music.
