Embrace the Moon: Tai Chi Chuan

Overview

Betty Sun and Joi Eden demonstrate and teach some of the basic principles of the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan. The principles of the tai chi are first taught, and then the complete form is demonstrated. The viewer is then guided through a gentle warm-up, after which the movements are taught. Care is taken to teach how to perform each movement, and visualization images are provided to help the student fully understand the movement. The entire video is shot outside, with images of nature interspersed throughout. The video won the 1999 Telly Award in Health and Medicine.
