I've been wanting to see this movie for a while since a sequel to The Exorcist is just so hard to resist looking into. I was expecting the movie to be terrible, which it was. However, I also loved it. It may have been terrible in quality (cameras, storyline, etc.) but the overall idea of it was alright. This movie was not too disappointing, but I feel the plot was revealed too soon. The directing, effects, and story were rather cheesy, but I still enjoyed it overall. Just rent the movie and see if you like it. If you are bad at enduring bad movies, you will probably not enjoy it, but I've sat through terrible movies, and this movie was pretty good. Just cheesy and terribly directed.

When i first saw the exorcist i loved it. i didn't think it was scary, but a very interesting movie. When i looked to see if there was any sequels i found exorcist 2 the hereic. I wasn't disapointed in it at all, but pleased, and i personally would put it on top with the first. Even though i did find some parts of the movie to be extremely funny, such as James Earl Jones as an African bug man, i found the plot to be very interesting and found that Linda Blair did a great job acting as Reagan again. This is just my personal opinion, as you may see many people strongly disagree with it. If you liked the first exorcist, you should check out this one. You may agree with me or disagree.

Everything that went so right in The Exorcist goes disastrously wrong in Exorcist 2: The Heretic. Richard Burton once again scuttles his reputation as a Great Actor in the role of a heretical priest. Poor Linda Blair, now 18, is repossessed by the spirit of a demon called Pazuzu. The film hops, skips and jumps all over the world in search of a plot and at least a word or two of believable dialogue. Don't miss the climax, in which Linda Blair tap-dances her worries away. Saving Exorcist 2: The Heretic from being a total loss are some first-rate special effects.i thought that Linda Blair should have never took the part because of the poor cast given to her.finally i can say that this movie still watchable but compared to the first one it's poor and weak in cast, special effects and screenplay.the overall score for this movie is 3 stars which means average scoring.

The first one was the best, but this one sucks. Don't watch it, unless you just have to.

In my humble opinion, this is the worst sequel ever made. I wish I even knew where to begin in explaining why this movie does not work in any way whatsoever. The worst part is that horror fans will be suckered into watching it anyway, since checking out a sequel to The Exorcist seems hard to resist. If they have any sense, they will laugh this off the screen just as audiences at theater premieres did all those years ago. I apologize for not giving more specifics as to why I feel this way, which I guess allows my review to therefore be rendered useless, but I think it says something that it would take me some time to point out every single problem with Exorcist II: The Heretic. You can either check out more detailed reviews that attempt to explain the main gripes or you can simply watch it yourself if you dare. Suffice it to say that the bizarre plot doesn't make the least bit of sense, for starters. Hahaha. It's been said the original was the epitome of scary at the time and the only thing scary about this sequel is how unwatchable it is.
