PBS home video takes the viewer to the streets of Mexico for the annual celebration that honors the dead. It is both a joyful and sad celebration of their ancestors. It is a week of traditional cultural celebration in the streets of Puebla Mexico. The viewer witnesses many traditions such as, the Mask Dancing Dance of the Volodores performed on a 60 ft. pole, traditional fabric weaving, and a variety of skull art. The food of the celebration includes, Mexican Meat grasshoppers, ant eggs, and mosquitos. This colorful cultural celebration comes to an end at the grave sites of thier ancestors.
