I have now purchased all of the sets that are available and am anxiously awaiting the next one. This series is very well done. There is mystery, history and humor in each episode. I highly recommend this series.

Michael Kitchen, as well as the other members of the cast, are supperb in this series. I love the way the story lines are developed and Foyle's facial expressions express far more than words can describe. Anyone who enjoys British mystery series should have this entire collection on their shelf.

After checking this whole series out of the library, I am ready to buy the set...or receive it as a gift. The main characters are definitely people you would like to know. As a result even though the series is centered on a murder, you admire the class act that solves the crime. Well worth purchasing.

Engaging characters, beautiful scenery, intelligent plots. Of all of PBC's Nystery Theatre this show is the absolute best. I've watched every show at least twice and still love them!

We love Foyle's War. Since this purchase, we've obtained sets 3 & 4. We weren't sure what to expect but are avid fans of Agatha Christie's Poirot as well as the Sherlock Holmes mysteries with Jeremy Brett. Foyle's War was a great surprise. Engaging stories, a great cast and a history lesson rolled into one - brilliant!! Michael Kitchen is as good as they get! And it wouldn't be the same without 'Sam' and 'Milner'.
