let me start by saying first off that if you are viewing this film for the first time then you must know that this is pure fiction. this is why probably most people don't favor this film but it is still enjoyable. i remember the first time i saw this film years ago on amc and the various copies i had on tape cause i would watch the film almost every week. so glad that its now on dvd. carroll baker shines as jean harlow in the fictional tale of her brief and sad life. just go into the film with an open mind that its fiction and enjoy this slice of 1960's pop dressed in 1930's style
