What a terrific surprise to find this dvd. I loved it in the 60's and it's just as good today! Great family entertainment.

I excited to see this come to DVD after all these years. By the way, Mark Lenard was a Vulcan (Mr. Spock's father), not a Romulan.

For many years I have waited to see if "Here Come The Brides" would ever be released on video or dvd. Now I have my dvd and have savored every episode. Thank you for many hours of fond memories with wonderful characters, delightful humor, and for a chance to relive a part of my childhood. Hopefully, season 2 will not be far behind!

I too drooled over Bobby Sherman and soooo wanted to be Candy to his Jeremy! I always liked the Musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", so, when this show came around with one of my teen idols in it, I just had to watch! *************************************************** I am also an avid Trekker and yes, Mark Lenard's first role on Star Trek was in fact as a Romulan commander, ("Balance of Terror" 1966). He didn't appear as Sarek until the following year, ("Journey to Babel" 1967). ***************************************************** And, guess who was the first Klingon to appear with a ridged forehead? Yep, that was Mark Lenard again as a Klingon captain in "Star Trek The Motion Picture" 12 years later! ************************************************************** ***************************************** His character on "Here Comes The Brides" was not one of my fav's, (maybe because he didn't have pointed ears or an album out...lol), but Mr. Lenard did do an awesome job!

There are not words enough to express just how excited I am that this TV show is being released on DVD. I watched Here Come The Brides when it was orginally released, and immediately fell in love. 35 plus years later and I still feel that way. Bobby Sherman is just too adorable as sweet shy Jeremy. Robert Brown is perfect as the oldest Bolt brother, as is David Soul. Bridget Hanley, Susan Tolsky, Mark Lenard, and Joan Blondell were all expcetional but you got to just love Henry Beckman as Captain "Fishface" Clancey. I am counting down the hours until my DVD arrives. Thank you Sony for the greatest gift ever!!!
