I love this show so much. It has drama, action, romance, and a great storyline. If I would have to pick only one tv show to watch, it would be this one.

How could I not love anything with Milo Ventimiglia in it? The show is amazing and filled with some of the best actor on Tv. Anyone who doesn't give Heroes a shot is missing out.

This is one if the greatest series on television now. Season One is chock full of great twists, sci-fi action, but also romance, betrayal, and emotions. It is the story of what would happen to real people who find out that they have special powers. Enjoy!!!!

I admit when I first heard about Heroes I was iffy, but I turned it on one night and after watching just the LAST 5 MINUTES of an episode I was hooked!! This show is sooo fantastic. I was getting tired of all the superhero stuff lately, but this show puts out a whole new perspective that just pull you in. My mom doesn't even watch TV that much, and she came in during the last 5 minutes of an episode I was watching, and now she's hooked on the show too!! I am definitely buying this when it comes out!

This show can be quite dark at times, showing perhaps the real struggle that people with abilities would need to face. Do you use said abilities to help yourself and your loved ones or do you sacrifice yourself for the greater good? Whose side are you on? No one wears special suits or has wrist watch communicator devices on this show. It's alot more of 'wake up, find you have a special ability, how does this apply to my world' kind of shows. Time travel, teleportation, flight, hyper-regeneration, super strength, radiation manipulation, telekinesis, super hearing, and psionic abilities manifest themselves among others during this more realistic view of the characters. Season two is nearly over as I write this, and continues right where the original season left off.

I remember I saw the end of a commercial for the show and that was it. Then I was clicking through channels and just got the pilot ep for Heroes. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not and so started watching more and loved it. My fave characters has to be Peter, later in the first season Sylar, Matt, Hiro (Yatta!), too many to choose from but you get the idea. This is the story that involves something from comics (particulary x-men) and shows us the lives of different people who discover that each of them have a power. Fave eps in the first season have to be: of course the pilot, Homecoming, Six Months Ago, Fallout, Five Years Gone and How To Stop an Exploding Man (who didn't expect to have a better fight between Sylar and Peter)? So yeah if you love comics superheroes then check out this show.

The characters, plot, events- everything was just so unique and obviously planned out in a way to involve the viewer in every twist and turn. The elaborate plot twist draw the reader in and develop a "need" to see what happens next. The characters are so real & lovable that you can never forget them. This is the best show/movie i have ever seen in my life. Wow.

I have a bit of an advantage here, as the doctor for Viacom (and for the TV show Heroes)--mostly I get to give everyone flu shots, tend to sore throats and sprained ankles, but the sets are magnificent, the writers are brilliant, and the acting nuanced and subtle--everything I love in an unclassifiable, complex show. The DVD is better than anyone expected, with a ton of unseen footage, commentary by Tim, and..well, surprises! Enjoy!

I watched this during the live season. Two words, You're Hooked. I started watching, not really interested in it, but all the characters are great. Hiro and Matt, and Peter, played by Milo V. are all great. The storyline with the Cheerleader is also great. I'm not a superhero fan, and I really loved this show, it keeps moving. The ending could've been better, but it didn't ruin the series.

I really enjoy the first heroes season and totally reccomend it!! It's really exciting and you want to continue episodes to see what will happen next!! Heroes season one rocks!!! Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) is also extremely hot!!! Most of the stuff he plays in is really cool!!! Enjoy!

An interesting show that's like something from the comics but good suspense no doubt. You basically have a group of people who turns out have powers and thus cope while there's a killer eating brains on the lose who's trying to hunt them one by one.

Heroes is without a doubt the only TV show I actually make sure I am home in time for. You have Your Grey's, Lost, and House but Heroes is the only series since the X-Files that captures fantasy with a griping plot and characters that come alive with every episode. This is not to say that those other shows are lack-luster.. Heroes is the first show in a very long time that offers the viewer a real escape from 'the normal 9 o'clock pick.' Reality TV, game shows, and Hospital drama, while thrilling, can lose its shock value after some time. So what Heroes does is blend the strife of personal dilemma found in Grey's, the humor of House, and the sheer 'unknown' of lost into one amazing series. Combined with what can only be described as an epic plot, mixed with a variety of characters that not only hold their parts well, but evolve and are explored in personal detail Heroes brings much to the table in terms of content. The Plot: Oh the plot! The best way to describe it is thus: hooked on the pilot. Hands down. No questions...and it only expands from there. If you thought Lost had twists and turns, Heroes offers that and much more. While one may sit there and blatantly see what is coming... you are on the edge of your seat until it happens and chances are you will fall out of your seat with Heroes. Heroes plays to the Science Fiction side of television. Now TV has its mind readers, its ESP crime solvers, and its unnaturally explained phenomena, but Heroes is the first show in a very long time that immerses the viewer in a completely fantasy world which in the end is the goal of good television: an escape from the norm. While the concept of the entire first season seems to be the idea of a group of gifted men, women, and children finding one another to serve a higher cause a deep plot in the last seconds of the final 'chapter' in season one merely screams to the viewer, "oh yes, there is more... much more." Heroes, and the heroes within the show itself go far beyond just saving 'the cheerleader,’ Heroes is indeed saving TV.

I cannot wait for this come out!! I loved it the first time around and I know that I will love watching it over and over again. I have told all of my friends and family about this show and how good it really is. I have advised everybody that it is a must see. I cannot wait for the 2nd season to air and then come out on DVD. The cast is remarkable!!! Hiro is a adorable along with his friend Andi. I was happy to learn that Hiro's father does approve of him and what he is about to accomplish. Peter was/is the awesome man. He has/had a big heart and truelly cares for all living things. Mika.... he is so cute and such a great little actor. He will grow to be a great actor. His " Mom and Dad " love him so very much and would do anything for him and that is wonderful. Claire and her adopted dad have such a bond that most fathers and daughters should have. I would love to haver her power -- invincable! How incredible would that be? The police office {cannot remember his name } is cute. I feel really sorry for him though. He has such a kind heart and everybody treats him badly. He does not deserve that. He has a wife at home that does not really love him -- but should -- and is going to have a baby with him. but, wouldn't his power be cool? Mind reading. " Save the Cheerleader. Save the world.". Wow. Anyway, this is a must see. The special effects are incredible!! The way the show proogressed throughout the season was amazing!!

Heroes is a one of a kind show, there is nothing like it on television. Some sequences may come off low budget but overall the storytelling is what drives this show and such an amazing cast of characters that it moves the pace of the show right along. I mean even the villain, brain eating Sylar is likable in his grotesqueness and the episode where we see him with his mother, we see that he was once a normal guy. These are complex characters like the schizo Niki/Jessica, the comedic adventures of Hiro and Ando. This show is a must see!

Within just the pilot, Heroes will capture you completely - it's an almost perfect combination of twisted plots and fantastic characters, but near the end, Heroes begins to lose its edge. Not only is the season finale very disappointing, it's incredibly anticlimactic. However, as a whole, Heroes remains an amazing show. Give it a try!

I hate television, but after watching just bits of this show I never missed an episode. This is so good, I joke that it's addictive. I had a friend from far away come visit me and she watched an episode. Needless to say, she promptly went home and planned her schedule around the airing time! The characters are admirable, honest, and full of depth with love, hate, yearning, selfishness and all else besides. This show is amazing, and I strongly recommend it to everyone!

Season 1 was smart, sophisticated, and you never knew what was going to happen next with each character. As the (many!) characters each discovered their abilities, you were drawn in to their stories. Masi Oka as Hiro is great comic relief, but you also get swept along with his need to control his abilities. Jack Coleman as Horned Rimmed Glasses Guy makes you cheer (and tear up) by the episode "Company Man."
