Overview

Starring Ioan Gruffudd (Titanic) in the title role, and adapted for A&E networks from the series of C.S. Forester novels, the saga Horatio Hornblower relays the adventures of one of literature's most capable and ingenious seafarers. The series dramatizes Hornblower's rise from Royal Navy recruit during the Napoleonic Wars to veteran sailor, among other accomplishments. This box set includes two feature-length Hornblower installments as originally broadcast on A&E: The Duel and The Fire Ships. The programs co-star Jamie Bamber, Paul Copley and Robert Lindsay.
