This is one of my favorite horror thriller suspense movies ever with a good twist at the end and the story was of course good which is rarely seen in some movies but of course this is pretty good. The story is all about a supposed group of people who get stranded in a motel and are killed off one by one all the while nothing is what it seems.

This is one of those 'little' films that sneaks under the radar. I was hooked from the start and amazed at the end. If mysteries and puzzles ala '6th Sense' are your forte, this is the film for you. CAUTION you must think to view this terrific film.

This is such a great movie!!!!!! I loved it as soon as I stepped in the theater!!!!!!! I can't wait until September 2nd, 2003 when it comes out!!!!!! I want it now!!!!!! Eleven strangers are forced to stay at a motel until the storm dies down and the rivers unflood!!!!!! The chaffeur, the actress, the motel manager, the police officer, the escaped convict, the father, the mother, the son, the pregnant wife, the newlywed husband, and the prostitute!!!!!! Who will die first, or last, or in the middle?!!!!!! I know, but do you?!!!!!! Watch this great movie and find out who dun it!!!!!!

My favorite in its category. Truely what I call a psychological thriller. This is a brainteaser movie that will have you guessing all the way. No matter how cunning you think you are, you won't figure it out until the end. It's brilliant! A must see.

During a torrentuous Arizona desert rain storm, 11 people are stranded to a night of destiny and demise at a remote highway motel. Sounds good, doesn't it? Ok, now add in a psychopathic killer who suffers from a multiple personality disorder who is facing execution in less than 24 hours. But that is not all. Now add in dark and foreboding Alfred Hitchcock & Agatha Christie overtones with plenty of 'twists', 'guesswork' and 'surprises'. Ooooooh yah! Now is your blood going? This is one of the smartest thrillers to come along in a long, long time that is best watched in the dark. Eleven strangers (the Ex-Cop Limo Driver, The Has-Been Actress, The Prostitute, The Secretive Motel Manager, A Cop and his Prisoner, A Troubled NewlyWed Young Couple and A Family In Crisis...each with a dark secret, and all with a common bond) are all caught in a heavy storm and have to take shelter in a remote desert highway motel. With all communication lines out of order and roads washed out on either side, they are thrust into a night to remember. One by one, they begin to die...or should I say are murdered? Director James Mangold (CopLand, Girl Interrupted & Kate And Leopold) has crafted a fine piece of work here as he keeps his audience glued to the screen with great visuals, plot lines and acting. With an occasional flair for the classic B-Movie Horror slasher flick, he is able to transcend into a stylish, classic thriller genre that keeps you guessing and will send a shiver down your spine in the mind blowing conclusion. And then after you have watched the final credit roll by, you want to watch it again and pick apart the clues they leave for you along the way. And you realize from the very FIRST dialogue lines in the movie, you are given your biggest clue. But I won't tell you anymore than that...you will have to watch this movie for yourself, and let it tease your brain and senses. And then you will know for yourself what a triumph this film really is. Great movie with a superb ending! I highly recommend it!

Identity is the greatest movie on the face of the earth!!!!!! It is so good!!!!!! Each time I watch it I learn something new!!!!!! Ten strangers get stranded at a hotel with the manager, Larry Washington. The ten strangers: Ed Dakota, the chaffeur, Caroline Suzanne, the actress, George York, the husband, George's wife, Timothy York, the son, Paris Nevada, the prostitute, Robert Maine, the escaped convict, Rhodes, the police officer, Ginny Virginia, the newlywed wife, and Lou Isiana, the newlywed husband. Slowly they start dying, and they find out a terrible secret!!!!!!

Very Suspenseful...diabolical. Kept you riveted to the screen and had an ending that left you with your mouth hanging wide open. A definite must see a second time.

This is a great thriller. It has all the scares and spooks. It keeps you gessing until the very end. This movie is everything a movie should be. Suspencful, thrilling, scary, interesting, and shocking. I enjoyed it so much. I was so impressed with it.

I saw this movie the day it came out and I have to admit it was the trailer that pulled me in 'the common birthday' grabbed my attention. This movie far exceeded what I expected. It was above a thriller. It is a movie that you will have to watch again and again just to figure out what really happened. Get a group together, some popcorn and your favorite beverage and watch it. Just be prepared for a loooong discussion afterwards.

This movie is wonderful, it's one of those that makes you want to watch it again after you see the ending , just to try to figure it all out.

An excellent movie...I say this because the movie ends in such a way that it forces you to look back and remember the scenes in the film to figure out what really happened. I believe this movie is definitely 'Classic-potential' and in every way deserves its credit for being a great film for all. Definitely recommend it to all who are tired of the horror genre that is filled with idiotic characters and plot lines!
