At first glance, I wasn't too sure how this movie would be, considering it was a straight to DVD movie and all. I may have been on the sci fi channel or something like that, though it doesn't say, so forgive me if it was indeed on TV or something, but I just wasn't sure about it at first. However, that's the nice thing about Red Boxes...only $1 rentals. Plus, it had JAG's David James Elliott in it, as well as Natasha Henstridge and James Cromwell, so it seemed a safe enough bet...and quite honestly, it really was. I thought that perhaps maybe it might be your typical meteor movie, like Armageddon or Deep Impact, but it was actually rather different, and it's actually a 2 part movie, totally 3 hours. I was actually rather impressed with it. There is no need explaining what it is about, because there is already a description on the movie's page of course. I would have to say though that I was actually quite impressed by it, and I would recommend that if you're into disaster thrillers/sci fi/astrological stuff that you give this movie a watch, because it is definitely a good one.
