Romantic comedies have always been one of my favorite genres. This is one movie that I can watch over and over and over again. All the performances are fabulous -- especially Joan Cusack's (she should have won the Academy Award for best Supporting Actress). You can't help but laugh out loud when, dressed in full wedding garb, she attempts to pick up Tom Selleck in a bar . . . only to find out he's gay, too, just like her fiance Kevin Kline! The music is fun ("Macho Man", "I Will Survive") -- you'll find yourself jumping to your feet. No special effects, no explosions, no "F-bombs". This is a movie that will allow you to lose your worries for 2 hours . . . and laugh!

This movie lovingly pokes fun of the gay stereotypes without being offensive in any way. Plus there's the added bonus of seeing Kevin Kline dance... and boy can that (straight!) man dance! Reminded me of how wonderfully he danced in Pirates of Penzance. Good all around fun with great performances by the whole cast.

This is such a great movie. There are some great actors from Debbie Reynolds to Joan Cusack. Joan Cusack is the highlight of the movie with some great lines.

This movie starts out good, but then turns into a thinly veiled attempt at a "Gay is Good" propoganda movie. Avoid it at all costs.

Everybody in this movie is so funny. All good actors, good story line. Very enjoyable. I recommend this movie highly.
