This movie rocks!! The best book to movie adaptation I've EVER seen!! The whole cast is stunning, especially Tom Cruise, and everything is perfect!! See this movie now if you haven't already!!

First of all, this is THE best vampire movie. It is a Creepy & Scary movie, too. One of the creepiest part is when Claudia, Kirsten Dunst's character, kills Lestat, Tom Cruise's character. The scariest part was when Louis, Bradd Pitts' character, kills all the vampires in that place. There are also some funny bits in it too, although you wouldn't think there would be any funny bits in a horror movie. I would not reccomend this movie to children under 11, though, because there is nudity & gore in this movie. All the actors do very good in their roles, but Kirsten D. really did a good job, considering how young she was. If you are a fan of vampire movie you simply cannot ignore this one. If you buy it you won't regret it.

I have to say, I like the movie version of Interview With the Vampire better than I do the original written one. All the excess words and scenes in the book are absent in the film, and all you’re left with is pure story. I love the way the movie flows from one time period to the next. The sets, the lighting and the music all combine to create a sad and delicate world. The only thing about it is that the actors speak so softly that I sometimes was forced to use the subtitle feature to understand what they were saying. But still, it’s a wonderful movie.

The Life of a Vampire Most horror films today are full of blood and guts. I haven’t seen many in the past few years’ worth watching. One movie that was very good is Interview with a Vampire starring Tom Cruise. In this film, Cruise asked a human to write about his life story as a vampire over the ages. The story begins when Cruise was turned into a vampire, and goes on to show how he killed for food and fun with his vampire friend. Later on in the story, he turned a child into a night walker, so he could have his own little family. As most people know, vampires do not age, so this film covers many decades in time. Many films today are created very fast with very poor stories. I will admit that I am very fond of vampire stories for the most part. When films go to the extreme, killing everyone in sight just to kill, or show blood and guts all over the place, it has no real story. Interview with a Vampire has much killing and blood, but it also has a great story in telling many periods of the vampire’s life. Several images in the film have death involved in them, but more than half do not. They show how a vampire can enjoy his live and even love. Cruse, in the movie has a few wives or girlfriends, but the love of his life is a little vampire girl about ten years old that he created to be his family. The entire film takes a myth and makes you look at the idea of a vampire as being potentially real. All of the clothing being of the time period, along with music, even the method of traveling by horse and buggy fit in very well. As we all know vampires are not real, but they make for a good story. This one, in my opinion is the best ever made, and will live on throughout time, much as the vampire do.

As much as I like this movie (not only because young Brad Pitt was yummy) I still think the book was better. THere is just so much more content in the book to like. Its always better to watch the movie though, then read the book because it makes the book seem better but if you try to read the book first and then watch the movie its not so great.

This movie was one of the best vampire movies I have ever seen. I am very into vampires and this one really captures the essence of all vampire kind. I truely love it. Brad Pitt (Louis), Tom Cruise (Lestat) and Antonio Banderas (Armond) make truely convincing vampires. Newcomer Kirsten Dunst (Claudia) plays a wonderful part as the younger girl turned vampire by Lestat. This is a wonderful movie filled with action, suspense, love, and heartbreak. I recommend this to all lovers of life, love, and vampires.

the movie spoke out to most people becuase of the actors cruise, pitt, slater, and banderes but its not horror flick its a drama about a soul tormented by what he was and what he has become.showing off a gothic yet romantic setting of paris, new orleans ,and san francisco.it shows the seductive world of a vampire. the performances were great cruise one of his few actual acting roles plays the thoughtless killer.Armand played the jealous yet protective father of louis and louis the guilty concious of the vampires.

but I just LOVED this movie. Usually I hate horror, but this movie just struck me. Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt are great, and Kristen Dunst is in it also, as a little girl. You will love this movie, just give it a chance. It was like I was put under a spell, it reached out to me.
