Jillian Michaels is a tough trainer, but I have to agree that motivates me more..she pushes you because she believes that you can achieve your goals. She was struggling with her weight and that is what helps me to get motivated. The cardio kickboxing is a great workout that makes you sweat and gets your heart pumping. If you don't get through the workout, that's fine, just do little by little until you can do it. It is basically for people who exercise often and you can start slowly and achieve your fitness goals. I recommened Jillian Michaels workout dvd.

One 'anonymous' reviewer said Jillian isn't very good at the group exercise thing! Um...this DVD was done in 2005. I'm pretty sure it was among her first...if not THE 1st. I noticed that she seemed a little nervous at first, but once they got going, she was ON! This DVD was SIX years ago. I noticed that, while she's still VERY D*mn tough, she has toned down quite a bit. In THIS DVD, she's like the Jillian you see in 30-Day Shred...on a really heavy dose of caffeine! But ya know what?? I LOVE her and her workouts kick my butt every freakin' time!! :-)

I believe Ms Michaels knows what she is doing when it comes to personal training, but group exercise is clearly not her thing. She had no sense of rhythm or choreography and she kept snickering to herself. The workout itself only lasts about 20 minutes and was not challenging at all so this one is gonna be a dust collector.

I don't know what Becky above was thinking when she did this workout, but I completely disagree. This was horrible! It was only like 20 minutes long and I didn't break a sweat. If this truly is for people who regularly workout, then it is NOT doing it's job. I was really excited when I ordered this, and now I am so disappointed. Michaels seems too caught up in herself and laughing to her crew, and doesn't even count to music or keep you moving. I can't believe that before the workout she keeps commenting on how hard it was going to be! After doing her video, I put in one of my Billy Blank's Taebo DVD's and actually got a good workout. This was such a waste of money!
