This box set caters to fans of The Duke, John Wayne, with six features toplined by Wayne and one best-of compilation. First on the bill is the 1990 opus John Wayne: American Hero, not a documentary per se but a montage of action-packed adventure scenes and adrenaline-fueled moments in 24 of Wayne's most beloved films. Features in the set include: the 1935 Dawn Rider , with Wayne seeking revenge against the bandits who shot his father; the same year's Texas Terror, with Wayne as a grief-ridden lawman struggling with the death of his friend, for which he believes he was responsible; The Trail Beyond (1934) with Wayne as a man who sets out to track down his buddy's brother and nice; McLintock!
