The fight scenes in this are really good.

I feel compelled as an avid Van Damme fan to make some points of clarification to Paul Brenner's assessment of the movie. 1) Eric Sloan does not win the fight. Tong Po never let him into the fight...It was one sided all the way. 2) Tong Po's co-horts do not rape Van Damme's girlfriend in the movie, it is Tong Po himself who does this...and 3) The dog is merely injured with a knife and is not killed, and is there along with all of Van Damme's friends to watch the ultimate victory. That was not meant to slight Mr. Brenner's fine review, but to clarify it. This was perhaps Van Damme's biggest box office success. After the very noticeable ''Bloodsport'', fans flocked to the theaters to watch Van Damme portray Kurt Sloan. The training sequences in the movie were excellent and the fight scenes were choreographed beautifully. By film's end, you are among all others standing in the middle of your living room floor shouting at the TV screen as Van Damme ultimately triumphs over Tong Po. A high recommend...Enjoy!
