As a father of 3 and legal guardian of a Brazilian youth soccer team I am constantly on the lookout for good family films. This film has everything you need! Arnold Schwartznegger shows his true character (gentle giant) in this showstopper. Everything from quirky jokes to ferret attacks make this movie one to own. It is also educational to children who may have a problem with authority and are ''loaded''.

This movie is one of the funniest kid movies out there. While there is a serious side and plot, there are also some of the funniest scenes you will ever see that take place in the classroom. Putting kids in a room with Arnold is just funny in itself. You should definitely see this movie!

Ok, the movie is good for people 16+, but come on.. this movie is NOT a great family movie! If you care less that your kids watch momma make a profit off of selling drugs and a principal who condones kicking the hell out of a father, then you CANT complain when your own kids have the idea that it's ok to do the same. A word of advise, watch it yourself, not with your kids.

this is a very good movie a man goes undercover as a kindergarden teacher the kids drive him wild kindergarden is like the ocean you don't want to turn your back away from it that was a line in this movie which is true children are the future sure they can be a hand full but you can love and care for them warning this movie may not be so good for young children to watch cause of bad language and some vilonce but if your about 12 or older than its okay to watch 1990 was the year that this movie came out i was 5 back then i know some of the kids who played in this movie are probably in their 20's about 23 25 or possible 22 just make sure you ask your parents if you can watch this movie its a great movie!!!!

I give this movie three stars with a certain degree of hesitation. Although the story is heartwarming and ultimately redeeming, those who chose to watch this film should be aware that the levels of anger displayed by Arnold Schwartzenegger are betimes frightening to an adult, let alone a child for whom this movie is intended. I criticize those who casually dub Shwarzenegger a ''gentle giant'', the name so approriately describing such sweet heavyweights as Andre the Giant and Louie Anderson. I ask that such callous people observe Arnold's mad grimacing and inane German-babble. Then they will think twice. But Linda Hunt is so great - what a cute and talented wee one she is!
