The documentary was well informative about who he was. Many very interesting things were said about his friendship with Krist Novaselic, his relationship with Courtney Love, his drug addiction, and his early years of childhood and what made him who he was. The music on the movie was amazing. I am a huge fan of Big Black, Scratch Acid, and Black Flag. The pictures that "About A Son" showed were perfect for the movie because it is entertaining but not disstracting enough to have you looking at the pictures instead of listening to Kurt. If your a fan of Kurt Cobain and would like to see the true side of him then get this. Although if your excpecting to hear Nirvana's music, getting to know Nirvana, or just want to know about Kurt's mysterious death (yeah I know people that this is their only interest) then I would suggest you not to watch it.

I havent seen this movie yet so I dont really know how good it is but to all of those people who are putting work into having people remeber Kurt as the person that he was I thank you. Im looking forward to a real movie with real actors about Kurt. Thank you.

For someone who has never had the opportunity to visit the Pacific Northwest, to finally see some things Kurt may have seen and/or been a part of is amazing. But more importantly, as a Nirvana fan for 16 years, you get to the point where you've seen every video clip, every sound byte, and having Kurt gone is only magnified even more. But to hear these interviews, to hear his voice, to hear him say things I've never actually heard him say, it was like he was alive for me for another 90 minutes. When I realized it was over, I teared up and got very sad and thought to myself 'no, don't take him from me again...' But these are 90 minutes more than I had before...so I relish them. So if you miss Kurt, get this DVD.
