Overview

Leave It to Beaver: Season Three

One of the most beloved sitcoms of all time, Leave it to Beaver (1957-1963), bore a somewhat unusual history in the sense that it began on one network (CBS) before jumping ship in the fall of 1959 and turning up on another (ABC) for the duration of its run. Season Three of Beaver marked the series' second year on ABC, and ran from October 3, 1959 - June 25, 1960; it appears in its entirety in this package from Shout and NBC Universal, with all 39 episodes as they originally aired. It includes such adventures as Larry Hides Out, Wally and Alma, June's Birthday, Baby Picture and Beaver's Library Book. As a special bonus feature, the package includes an audio interview with program stars Jerry Mathers and Frank Bank, originally broadcast on the Shokus Radio program 'Stu's Show.'
