A small-town have-not turned big city socialite is forced to reclaim his true identity after a human resource audit reveals some suspicious discrepancies in his educational background. D. Ray Morton had it all: In addition to being voted Atlanta's most Eligible Bachelor three years and running, Morton lives in an ultra-modern apartment and earns a paycheck that would make most young professionals green with envy. The one day, when the truth about his embellished resume is revealed during a routine human resource audit, it all just falls apart. Now Morton is jobless and penniless, and will be forced to move back home in order to rebuild his life from the ground up. It won't be easy, though in the process Morton discovers that when he is finally laid to rest it will be his obituary - not his resume - that stands as the defining indicator of his true worth.
