A great set of films packaged together that provides a variety of your favorite Looney Toon characters and stories. A must for every household for kids of all ages. Classic animation and Mel Blanc's enormous vocal talent.

Everyone concentrates on the cartoons, which are classics. I will not debate that. One of the coolest things on this set is the documentary on Mel Blanc. To watch this makes the viewer realize just how special Mel really was, and also how close the world came to losing him too soon. I won't ruin it for anyone who decides to pick it up, but the hospital story is one of the coolest I've ever heard.

This DVD is what I had been looking for. I thought that the last 5 were good this is a whole lot better. This DVD has missing cartoons and some of the older ones that have never been seen in yrs. Also has a lot of extras. Like a short on Mel Blanc that tells his life story through friends and family.

I have managed to collect all of the ones out so far on the Golden Collection as I am a lifelong Looney Tunes fan. The Golden Collections, Number Six included, are wonderful and very well done. The cartoons are as they were originally shown with a disclaimer at the beginning of each about issues which some today might find objectionable but were prevalent at the time they were made. The Special Features in each collection are wonderful as they explain how and when the cartoons were made and about the development of each of the characters as well as the people who made them. I find them very entertaining and wonderful "escapist fare." Volume Six contains many of the cartoons made during WWII, even the ones that were made for the government. I look forward to each volume as it comes out (don't know if there will be any more but will keep an eagle eye out)and really enjoy having my own collection of the cartoons I grew up with (and not the whitewashed and cut versions that were shown in later years on TV). Thank you Warner Brothers!
